Scrivevo ieri a proposito dei 5 minorenni denunciati per aver creato un gruppo su Facebook attraverso il quale hanno offeso la loro professoressa che credo sia giusto responsabilizzare soprattutto i più giovani sull’uso delle nuove tecnologie senza, tuttavia, criminalizzare queste ultime.

Negli ultimi mesi mi sono ritrovato spesso a parlare (non solo ma in buona compagnia) della malsana idea del Ministro Brunetta di regalare a tutti i cittadini a spese di tutti i cittadini un indirizzo di posta elettronica certificata producendo, peraltro, effetti dirompenti sul mercato (che non c’è data la scarsa utilità dello strumento!) delle [...]

Deve essere un bel libro quello che ho appena pre-ordinato su Amazon di Viktor Mayer-Schönberger, direttore dell’Information and Innovation Policy Research Centre alla National University of Singapore’s Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy.
Il titolo è di per sé autoesplicativo: Delete:The Virtue of Forgetting in the Digital Age.

Non mi piace quello che sta accadendo tra i colossi della comunicazione e del software perché mentre i Governi stanno a guardare il mercato sta prendendo una deriva che rischia di compromettere irreparabilmente la possibilità di utilizzare le nuove tecnologie per la condivisione delle idee e dei pensieri.
